I have worked Auckland sites since 1984 and run my own surveying practice since 2000. Land subdivision, cross lease to freehold conversion, boundary surveys and the council process that goes with them.
When you call, you get me. I quote the job, do the fieldwork, deal with Auckland Council, and send the final instruction to your solicitor for issue of titles.

Three flats on one cross lease site, with an overland flow path crossing the property and private drainage running through adjoining land. A genuine test of the private drainage rules. I found a solution that worked for council and for all three owners, who now hold their own fee simple (freehold) titles.
A nine-lot, high-density development that had everything: a landslide assessment overlay and many common party walls. The conditions were steep and the job got through.
Even cross lease boundaries can be problematic. Where the flats plan and the buildings on the ground no longer agree, someone licensed has to establish the correct position. That is where I come in.
I do the fieldwork myself. That keeps my overheads lower than a large surveying firm, and it means the person who quotes your subdivision is the person who surveys it, argues it with council, and knows every detail because he did the work.
After more than forty years on Auckland sites and three planning regimes, there is not much left that surprises me: unstable ground, shared drainage, viewshafts, boundaries that have not been marked since the 1900s.
I work anywhere in the Auckland Council area. The office is in Ellerslie township, with quick access to the eastern suburbs and straight onto both the northern and southern motorways.
Weekdays 9am to 6pm. If I am out on site, leave a message, send a text or email and I will get back to you.
